Contargo North France has been operating the Escaut Valenciennes Terminal in Bruay-sur-l’Escaut in northern France since 2015. The terminal is situated at the heart of the economic and industrial area of the Hauts-de-France region at the publicly-owned quay of Bruay-sur-l'Escaut / Saint-Saulve on the river Scheldt (known in French as the Escaut). Here, Contargo handles up to 140,000 TEU annually, offering logistics services for multimodal container transportation between the hinterland in northern France and the seaports and inland ports of northwestern Europe.
