The ongoing extreme heat is currently causing significant disruptions to handling operations at the seaport terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp.
Due to persistently low precipitation, the Kaub level is expected, according to the latest forecast, to fall below a water level of 81 cm starting Sunday. Owing to the restricted loading depth of barges, we are required to deploy additional barge capacity on the market.
On Friday 26 June and/or Saturday 27 June, further protests by various activist groups and organisations are expected in and around the Port of Rotterdam.
