Water levels of the Rhine River continue to decline, and according to current weather forecasts, no significant rainfall is expected in the coming days. The Kaub gauge is approaching the 81 cm mark and is expected to drop below it shortly. As a result, the loading capacity of our inland vessels will be further reduced.
Due to these exceptional circumstances, delays may occur. Once the water level drops below 81 cm, we will adjust our existing low water surcharges accordingly. As an alternative means of transport, we offer rail services, although available capacities are currently also limited.
Please note that in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions, we are no longer obliged to provide transport services if the water level falls below 81 cm, and agreed delivery dates may therefore not be met.
