Serious delays expected in the port of Rotterdam due to severe weather

The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) in the Netherlands warns of severe thunderstorms throughout the country and indicates that Code Orange applies from 16:00 this afternoon. The KNMI issues code orange if dangerous weather is expected, the impact of which may be significant.

The severe weather is sweeping across the country from the southwest and will have consequences for the terminals in Rotterdam, especially on the Maasvlakte / Maasvlakte II.

Our planning department will keep you informed of any delays. We would like to point out that Contargo is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result.
